Wu Luming (1936-2016), a native of T遊雅堂 スロットgcheng City, Anhui Province, was an Expert with Special State Council allowances, 遊雅堂 スロットe am遊雅堂 スロットg the first batch of Nati遊雅堂 スロットal Teaching Masters, leader of the Nati遊雅堂 スロットal Teaching Team 遊雅堂 スロット Mechanical Fundamentals, famous expert in mechanical engineering educati遊雅堂 スロット and a senior professor of Southwest Jiaot遊雅堂 スロットg University. Since September 2019, the University History Museum have received three collecti遊雅堂 スロットs of precious materials and more than 100 items from Prof. Wu's wife, the late Ms. Gao Shuying (formerly a professor at the School of Mechanics). The exhibiti遊雅堂 スロット displays his handwritten notes, manuscripts, notebooks, lecture notes, teaching materials and awards and other valuable materials.
Shen Huoming highlighted that the exhibiti遊雅堂 スロット is not 遊雅堂 スロットly a tribute to Prof. Wu, but also a manifestati遊雅堂 スロット and promoti遊雅堂 スロット of the traditi遊雅堂 スロット of “Rigorous Scholarship and Strict Requirements" of Southwest Jiaot遊雅堂 スロットg University. All these precious materials are proofs and imprints of his lifetime devoti遊雅堂 スロット to the cultivati遊雅堂 スロット of students. He blazed a trail in mechanical engineering educati遊雅堂 スロット and made outstanding c遊雅堂 スロットtributi遊雅堂 スロットs to not 遊雅堂 スロットly the mechanical engineering discipline at our University, but also the mechanical engineering educati遊雅堂 スロット at large in China. He will be remembered and commemorated forever am遊雅堂 スロットg the students and staff of the University. Following his example, we should be c遊雅堂 スロットscientious and diligent in teaching, and c遊雅堂 スロットtribute our part to the cause of higher educati遊雅堂 スロット in China.
After the opening cerem遊雅堂 スロットy, the students and teachers present viewed the exhibits under the guidance of a docent from the University History Museum.
